## About

Erika is a generalist product designer who likes owning products end-to-end, working closely with engineering, research and PMs, and having a clear reason (qualitative or quantitative) behind design decisions. She has hands-on experience designing and building with AI tools, including contributing code with AI assistance (Claude).

She is currently looking to join a small, informal team working on an ambitious mission, where she can be involved in strategy and product thinking (not just visual execution), contribute to the codebase alongside developers, stay close to users, and have ownership over what she ships.

## Experience

- **Prezi — Swoop** (Jan–Jun 2026, Product designer, remote from Ireland): one of 3 designers on a ~20-person cross-functional team building Prezi's biggest AI bet — an AI-native platform for creating visual content with agents. Designed and shipped features end-to-end with AI-assisted code; built the AI brand system (detects and recreates a brand from docs/sites); owned the social-posts format end-to-end, leading a small squad and shaping agent behaviour.
- **Prezi — Infogram** (Jul 2022–Dec 2025, Product designer / de facto PM, remote from Ireland): sole designer on Infogram, Prezi's standalone data-visualization platform (localized in 5 languages). Worked in a trio with an EM and PM, backed by UX research and product analytics. Led the dashboard redesign (+12% YoY page discoverability), redesigned the sign-up flow (A/B tested, +37% upgrades) and templates page (+20% project creation), and shipped AI chart suggestions (+7.5% chart success rate).
- **Experientia** (Feb 2020–Jun 2022, UX/UI designer, Torino, Italy): designed and prototyped interactive experiences across 10+ projects in health, finance, and urban development for an international consultancy. Led a therapy decision-support tool redesign for neurologists in a 4-person team over 5 months.
- **Deltatre** (Jul 2018–Feb 2020, UX designer, Torino, Italy): interaction design for sports-industry clients (e.g. Juventus, NFL). Designed and prototyped features for DIVA, a video player for smart TV, desktop, tablet and mobile.

- **Swoop** (swoop.it) — Generating social media campaigns: designed and shipped an agent that creates on-brand images and captions for social posts, and suggests what to post based on team activity pulled from Slack/Notion. Built end to end with three developers in about three weeks, before the product was discontinued.
- **Infogram dashboard redesign** — a ground-up rework of the dashboard's information architecture, from user-interview findings and prototyping through A/B testing to a shipped redesign (+12% YoY clicks on the top menu).

## Personal projects

- **Bluebie** (bluebie.app) — a retro-pixel grocery-list PWA designed, branded and built solo (icons, copy, animations, PWA, Firebase, Vercel) with Claude as the only teammate.
- **Encai** (encai.app) — a curated list of activities to expand your interests, launched on Hacker News. Product designer, working with one developer.
- **CorkBrute** (corkbrute.ie) — a lighthearted local-character spotting game/PWA for her friend group. Solo, with Claude.
- **SOL75** (sol75.com) — a web app for mechanical engineers to customize and 3D-print functional components (e.g. gears by teeth count, material, torque). Built from scratch starting 2020 with one developer; audience grew to 1,300+ subscribers in its first year.
